Baker Hughes is hiring a Field Engineer – Commissioning to lead installation, commissioning, and maintenance at customer sites. You will ensure safety, timely execution, and alignment with contractual commitments while engaging customers directly and documenting activities.

The role requires hands-on experience with hardware/software, networking basics, and travel up to 80%, with opportunities to contribute to service excellence and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or Engineering Technology.
• Experience using hand tools and working with machinery in a production or industrial environment.
• Strong technical and customer service skills with direct client interaction experience.
• Basic hands-on experience with networking components (routers, Ethernet cables, switches).
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including short-notice assignments during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Performing installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Bently Nevada hardware and software products and solutions at customer locations.
• Ensuring service execution aligns with customer schedules, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Supporting Site Leads in project execution and maintaining accurate installation and commissioning documentation.
• Identifying issues proactively and taking initiative to resolve them to ensure project and service success.
• Completing service reports, invoicing packages, and administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
• Driving customer satisfaction through quality execution and supporting business growth initiatives.
