Job summary

En-Tech Infrastructure in Closter, NJ seeks an experienced Field Engineer to provide oversight for safety, quality and project management. You will lead pre-bid surveys, start-up and closeout, and work with field crews to manage costs and margins.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of field experience, plus proficiency in Word/Excel; Primavera and JD Edwards are a plus. Travel ~25% and competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or 5+ years field experience.
• 2+ years of related field construction management experience.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% as required.
• Strong understanding of project cost tracking and margins.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and project support for safety, quality and management standards.
• Lead pre-bid site surveys, contract execution, and project start-up/closeout.
• Coordinate with field crews and subcontractors to track costs and production margins.
• Attend pre-bid and status meetings with customers; prepare submittals and RFIs.
• Assist scheduling, scope development, and awarding of subcontracts.
