Field Engineer – Operations (Hughesville, PA)

SUMMARY: Carry out key objectives to both assist and provide a leadership role in the field operations related to shale well production and midstream operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and organize Maintain X software utilized to track maintenance, inspections and inventory across the company.
• Develop specifications for maintenance of equipment and through the MOC process recommend changes as operating conditions change.
• Provide oversight and technical support to the operations I&E staff in troubleshooting the RTU and other electronics and recommending and sourcing alternatives as operating conditions change.
• Participate in teams to ensure safe and efficient commissioning of new wells and facilities.
• Participate in team projects. Ensure facilities and infrastructure designs and installations are completed and approved by operations team.
• Participate in work over, plugging and asset decommissioning activities.
• Responsible for gathering and analyzing fluid samples (oil, condensate, gas, glycol & water).
• Develop a strong working relationship with field operations personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company HSE training requirements and policies.
• Prepare post project analysis of completed projects (Post Audits).

Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering or related science.
• 1-3 years of experience in production or midstream operations.
• Understanding of wellbores, facilities, compression and pipelines.
• Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Good interpersonal abilities for working in a team environment.
