Job summary

Power Design is seeking a motivated Field Engineer to work on our nationwide electrical contracting projects. You will learn business aspects of running large-scale construction under supervision, growing quickly in a mentorship-driven environment.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with electrical installation scopes, support project deliverables, and collaborate with senior teams, suppliers, and customers onsite. Training in our facilities will leverage cutting-edge technology for project success.

Qualifications

• College graduate with a construction-related degree, or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values: integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation and growth.
• Non-smoker.

Responsibilities

• Gaining firsthand experience of electrical installation scopes on projects, including decks, rough, trim and distribution.
• Support project deliverables across all construction phases, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Promote onsite safety by recognizing hazards and ensuring corrections.
• Coordinate schedules, labor forecasting, inventory, material, and project correspondence.
• Interact with customers and other trades while representing the organization in the field.
• Utilize training and state-of-the-art facilities to assist on assigned projects.
