Job summary

Flatiron Construction Corp is seeking a Field Engineer to lead field engineering efforts, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and contract specifications on construction sites. You will review production schedules and coordinate materials, equipment and resources to keep projects on track and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 1+ year experience preferred in construction engineering.
• Knowledge of construction equipment, drawings, specifications and materials.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily with project crews to review production schedule and ensure materials, equipment and resources are available to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate and analyze shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements and project data to ensure quality and compliance.
• Provide technical input for project work plan and scheduling; identify risks that could affect budget or schedule.
• Track project performance by evaluating daily production, schedule and budget projections and document daily activities.
