Job summary

ENTACT is a premier environmental, civil, and geotechnical construction services provider. The Field Engineer will work with management and safety teams to ensure proper project execution, from surveying to on-site coordination, with a focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, communicate effectively, and can travel to project sites. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required; HAZWOPER training is a plus, and the role supports multiple projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.
• Team players with the ability to meet deadlines, goals and objectives.
• Design, planning and communication skills that promote safe work and safe work products.

Responsibilities

• Complete work in accordance with ENTACT safety policy and procedure.
• Coordinate on-site procurement activities including material requisitions and tracking deliveries.
• Process project documentation including daily/weekly reports, RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Track schedules, ensure contract compliance and support the Project Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop construction figures and surfaces from sketches and field measurements using AutoCAD.
• Process subcontractor billings, monitor budgets, and provide financial reporting to Project Manager.
• Oversee contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders from drafting to closeout.
• Ensure activities comply with design drawings and project specs.
• Conduct topographic surveys to calculate earthwork and assess site drainage.
• Work with project teams and vendors to meet project goals during execution.
