Position Summary

The Field Engineer supports the Superintendent and field team by coordinating with subcontractors, reviewing project documents, tracking field requirements, and helping ensure work follows project specifications.

Qualifications & Skills

• Construction experience; approximately one year preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic construction documents.
• General knowledge of multiple construction trades and tools.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, and Procore.
• Basic scheduling experience.
• Strong organization, communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to multitask and shift focus as needed.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Flexibility to adjust hours when project schedules change.
• OSHA, fall protection, forklift, boom lift, or similar certifications preferred.

• Work as a bridge between the Superintendent and field operations.
• Support subcontractors while maintaining project standards.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active construction sites for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use basic safety equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Schedule

• Schedule and standard site hours will vary based on project requirements and whether the employee is a traveler. Specific expectations will be discussed during the interview.

• Nights, weekends, overtime, shutdown windows, and/or commissioning coverage may be required based on project needs. Specific requirements will be discussed during the interview.
