Job summary

QCS Staffing is seeking a Field Engineer for a US/ Texas life sciences capital project. You will lead model reviews, coordinate with EPC/EPCM contractors, and ensure document control across ACONEX and related systems.

Ideal candidates bring extensive field experience on large industrial construction, familiarity with Navisworks and Primavera P6, and strong communication skills to report progress and risks clearly.

Qualifications

• Extensive field experience on large capital or industrial construction projects.
• Familiarity with Navisworks, Primavera P6, and document control platforms preferred.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing project experience encouraged.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills – producing structured reports and escalating issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly federated model reviews in Navisworks, identifying design changes, clashes, constructability concerns, and coordination issues.
• Manage and monitor project documentation within ACONEX, EDIA, and related systems, ensuring accurate distribution and control of project records.
• Review construction schedules to monitor progress, critical path activities, float consumption, and emerging project risks.
• Act as the Owner's point of contact for model, document, and schedule coordination with assigned EPC/EPCM contractors.
