Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction L.L.C. is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to develop future field leadership through hands-on construction management experience on active projects.

You will work closely with seasoned superintendents and field crews to plan, coordinate, and supervise site activities, with a defined path toward a supervisory role. The role emphasizes learning formwork, crew management, scheduling, and use of construction software, while participating in safety and yard management

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• Internship or 1–2 years in a construction-related role preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to travel and stay on projects away from home office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily construction site operations, including scheduling, logistics, and subcontractor coordination.
• Interpret drawings and RFIs, and support layout and field teams.
• Shadow assistant superintendents to learn formwork installation, crew management, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with crews to learn manpower planning for framing, decking, stripping, columns, and walls.
• Attend daily site meetings, toolbox talks, and coordination meetings with customers and suppliers.
• Learn construction management software for scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and documentation.
• Participate in training sessions with Safety, Formwork Engineering, and Yard teams.
