Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is offering an internship program in the mid-Atlantic region. Students will support crews on heavy civil projects, participate in planning, scheduling, and execution, and receive on-the-job and classroom training.

Typical assignments run 3–6 months, with buddy support, social networking events, and opportunities to develop professional skills while contributing to meaningful infrastructure work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mining & Materials Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
• Must be a team player with a collaborative attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities; willingness to learn and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating subcontractors on site.
• Project Schedule Management duties and tracking.
• Exposure to project plans and preparing work plans.
• Contract management tasks and daily reporting.
• Ordering materials and processing change orders.
