Ryan Companies in Chicago seeks a Field Engineer Intern to support superintendents on a part-time, on-site role. You will assist with project document flow, scheduling, quality control and safety while gaining first-hand site coordination experience.

Candidates pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field, and within 18 months of graduating, who can work 40 hours a week for at least three months, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or closely-related field.
• Within 18 months of graduating with a four-year degree.
• Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project document flow, scheduling, quality control.
• Support safety initiatives on site.
• Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination and scheduling.
• Observe and learn from superintendents to improve efficiency.
