Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer Intern for the Mission Critical Sector for a May–August summer internship.

You will assist superintendents with daily duties on-site, gain exposure to project coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety programs. Candidates pursuing a bachelor's in Construction Engineering/Management or related field, and within 18 months of graduation, who can commit to 40 hours/week for at least three months, are encouraged to apply.

Ryan Companies has an exciting opportunity in 2027 to join our team as a Field Engineer Intern for our Mission Critical Sector! This position is available as a summer internship running from May-August.

The Field Engineer Intern will assist superintendents with daily duties including:

• Assisting with project document flow, scheduling, quality control, safety and other duties specific to the project.
• Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.

Job Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Management or closely-related field.
• Within 18 months of graduating with a four-year degree.
• Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.

You will really stand out if you:

• Possess the ability to read and understand contracts, specifications and architectural and engineering drawings.
• Communicate clearly orally and in writing.
• Handle simultaneous priorities and deadlines and work towards job site efficiency.

Compensation

The hourly wage is $20-$25/hour . The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
