Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or another STEM-related program
• GPA greater than or equal to 2.75 out of 4.0 or equivalent
• Fluent in oral and written English
• Effective communication skills
• Able to relocate for the duration of the internship
• Authorized to work in the United States and maintain work authorization throughout employment without requiring sponsorship by Baker Hughes

Responsibilities

• Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
• Collaborate with experienced engineers on field operations including drilling, well testing, and equipment maintenance
• Collect and analyze field activity data to identify trends and issues
• Troubleshoot field operations and equipment issues
• Inspect and maintain equipment
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of field activities, equipment inspections, and safety measures
• Apply Health, Safety, and Environment standards and procedures
