Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student pursuing a construction-related degree (e.g., CM, CE, Arch).
• Desire to pursue a career as Project Manager, Superintendent, or Estimator.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• 18+ with a valid Driver's License.
• Willing to work and live in Southern California and relocate to project sites.
• Able to navigate construction sites, climb ladders and stairs, and work around heavy equipment.
• Employment contingent on passing a substance abuse test by a third party.

Responsibilities

• Assists Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents.
• Conducts safety audits and quality audits; reads and understands drawings and specifications.
• Logs submittals, processes RFIs, and prepares reports.
• Assists with surveying and project layout.
• Maintains and updates field drawings, equipment and records.
• Assists with coordinating subcontractors, vendors and field staff.
• Coordinates material deliveries and documentation.
• Attends project meetings; prepares memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts and other documents.
• Assists with project documentation requirements.
• Assists with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing.
