Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a Field Engineer II to perform tasks at well sites, coordinating with clients and Weatherford personnel. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science and 1–2.5 years in Oil & Gas, with strong fundamentals in mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, and math.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science as a minimum.
  • 1–2.5 year’s experience in Oil & gas industry.
  • Fundamentals of Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics, and/or Hydraulics.
  • Mathematics
  • Basic Physics and Chemistry
  • Computer fundamentals
  • Critical thinking, active learning & listening, complex problem solving

  • Quality Control Analysis to ensure the product meets required standards

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Weatherford’s policies.
  • Plans, preparation of tools & equipment, mobilization, job execution and submission of all job-related data.
  • Develops and maintains a positive relationship with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Available on 24 hours call basis to respond to customer needs.
