Job summary

Bluum is seeking a Field Engineer II to support deployment, commissioning, and ongoing support of professional AV systems in the Phoenix area. The role focuses on hands-on configuration, testing, and collaboration with engineering, programming, service, and client teams throughout projects.

Ideal candidates will be proficient with Bluum’s control platforms (Crestron, Extron, QSC), have DSP design experience across multiple platforms, and intermediate programming capability on Biamp or QSC DSPs.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring professional AV systems and networks.
• Knowledge of Bluum’s three primary control platforms: Crestron, Extron, QSC.
• Intermediate programming experience with Biamp and/or QSC DSP platforms.
• Strong system commissioning and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication with clients and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• System Deployment: prepare AV systems for deployment, including firmware upgrades and pre-testing.
• Configure field systems to meet project scope and functionality.
• Collaborate with programmers to troubleshoot complex issues remotely.
• Commission systems according to Bluum standards and client scope.
• Provide on-site support and diagnose hardware, software, DSP, and network issues.
• Standards Implementation: ensure Bluum standards across deployments.
• System Consultation: support design engineers and programmers with field feedback and remote meetings.
• Other Duties: assist project teams as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
