Job summary

Henkels & McCoy in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Field Engineer I to ensure construction project compliance and support project schedules. The ideal candidate will lead by example, maintaining accountability while contributing to project performance.

This position requires a BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. The role includes the responsibility of creating reports and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Utility construction experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of job costing and invoicing is preferred.
• Comprehension of construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to communicate with field personnel both internal and customer.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to overall project performance management.
• Communicate project risks to the PM.
• Create customer reports by gathering field data.
• Provide technical support for construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Skills

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Utility construction experience

Job costing and invoicing knowledge

Comprehension of construction plans and specifications

Ability to communicate effectively

Exposure to Microsoft Project or Primavera
