Job summary

Perfetto Contracting Co. Inc. seeks a Construction Field Engineer to support field operations, ensuring compliance with engineering standards for sewer, watermain, and utility work in the tri-state area.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Project Manager and Field Superintendent, managing safety, quality, and documentation, and assisting with cost reviews and scheduling. A Civil Engineering degree and field experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with construction equipment and techniques.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications and apply standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support to ensure field work meets engineering standards.
• Understand heavy civil, utility work, and sewer & watermain projects.
• Support safety program, observe safety meetings, assist Safety Manager.
• Contribute to quality requirements and culture on field operations.
• Assist field teams to maintain productivity, manage materials and equipment, and supervise subcontractors.
• Assist PM with document control, procurement, submittals, cost reviews, and scheduling.
