The Middlesex Corporation in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Field Engineer to support on-site engineering functions, review plans, and ensure safety compliance and quality control on heavy civil construction projects.

You will coordinate project schedules, manage field activities, assist in cost reporting, subcontractor coordination, and provide technical support for construction planning and drawings. A four-year engineering or construction management degree plus relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and or two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar capacity in heavy-civil construction projects.
• Preferred 2+ years' construction field experience on heavy civil or infrastructure related projects.
• Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, BlueBeam.
