Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation, a leader in heavy civil construction, seeks a Field Engineer to support on-site project execution in Florida. You will manage field engineering, ensure safety, review plans, and coordinate schedules and daily field activities to meet project specifications.

Required: a four‑year engineering or construction management degree and 2+ years in heavy civil work; proficiency with MS Office and BlueBeam; experience with HCSS HeavyJob, Vista, CAD, and P6; and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent.
• Preferred 2+ years' construction field experience on heavy civil or infrastructure related projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and BlueBeam.

Responsibilities

• Assist and participate in project functions and duties.
• Promote and enforce Safety Policies; uphold Safety First, In Everything We Do.
• Develop and implement safe, productive construction strategies and work plans.
• Assist in CPM schedule development and updates; manage narratives.
• Support project budgets, manpower, equipment, and material plans.
• Prepare cost reporting, revenue and cash flow projections.
• Assist in project engineering activities conforming to company procedures.
• Participate in submittal review, RFI, and close-out documentation.
• Contribute to quality control and assurance; maintain clear records.
