Job summary

Urban Infraconstruction LLC is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Heavy Civil team in Laredo, TX. The role supports project teams with field operations, plan interpretation, and daily coordination on infrastructure projects.

You’ll collaborate with superintendents, project engineers, and subcontractors, maintain site documentation, and ensure safety and quality standards while traveling as required and holding a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 1+ years’ experience in Heavy Civil Construction Industry.
• Knowledge of heavy civil operations such as utilities, earthwork, concrete, and road construction.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents and Project team with daily field operations on heavy civil projects.
• Support field crews by interpreting plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Assist with work planning, sequencing, and daily coordination with subcontractors.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
• Maintain daily reports, logs, as-builts, and other project documentation.
• Support the Project Engineers and project team with safety-related duties to ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations.
