Job summary

Blattner is expanding its energy construction leadership into gas power generation and seeks an entry-level Field Engineer to join our nationwide project teams. You will connect plans on paper to field work, supporting safety, schedule, cost controls, and QA/QC while building a foundation for a long‑term construction leadership career.

This hands-on role offers exposure to large renewable energy projects, mentorship, and diverse career paths within Blattner as you grow technical and leadership

• Coordinate with Trade Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to keep work moving efficiently
• Track daily production quantities, equipment usage, and cost data to support accurate reporting and forecasting
• Assist with short‑interval planning (two‑week lookahead) and daily Plan of the Day execution

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Project Execution & Field Coordination

• Support daily construction operations to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
• Coordinate with Trade Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to keep work moving efficiently
• Track daily production quantities, equipment usage, and cost data to support accurate reporting and forecasting
• Assist with short‑interval planning (two‑week lookahead) and daily Plan of the Day execution

Quality, Safety & Environmental Stewardship

• Help enforce Blattner’s zero life‑altering events safety culture on site
• Support QA/QC inspections, documentation, and compliance with project Quality Plans
• Assist with environmental compliance activities including SWPPP, erosion control, and permit requirements

Documentation & Cost Control

• Support engineering reviews, RFIs, as‑builts, and job book documentation
• Assist with subcontractor progress tracking, pay applications, and change documentation
• Monitor job costs against estimates and elevate risks or variances early

Collaboration & Leadership Development

• Partner closely with Superintendents, Project Construction Coordinators, and Site Managers to support field leadership
• Build strong working relationships with clients, landowners, utilities, and internal teams
• Participate in structured onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing development opportunities

$70,500.00 - $103,175.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
