Job summary

Reliance Test & Technology, LLC is seeking a Junior Field Engineer at Eglin AFB, FL to support development, operation, and testing of EO/IR/LASER systems used in HITL simulations.

Requires an Associate degree or certificates, at least one year in EO/IR/LASER tech, and the ability to obtain DoD clearance. On-site role with strict security requirements; responsibilities include setup, calibration, data collection, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or training certificates in electronics or engineering from trade schools or military programs.
• Minimum of one year experience in EO, IR, or LASER technologies or related development/operations.
• Experience with complex electronic equipment and simulation systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support facility engineers and analysts in developing test capabilities.
• Prepare and verify test items for operation and troubleshoot using established procedures.
• Set up test equipment, configure test areas for simulation, prepare equipment and perform diagnostics, operate IR/RF equipment, collect data and process results.
• Assist in alignment and calibration of LASER, IR and visible optical systems.
• Prepare technical reports and correspondence.
