Job summary

Kankakee Valley REMC in Wanatah, Indiana, seeks a Field Engineer to support the engineering department on new construction, service upgrades, relocations, and related projects. Qualifications

Degree in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical engineering or 10+ years of electric utility construction experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and reading technical drawings.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Work with the engineering team on new construction, service upgrades, relocations, and related projects.
Involvement in the work order process: design, estimating, field staking, and as-builts.
Collaborate with other departments to complete projects efficiently.
Develop knowledge of procedures and policies and improve member support.
Balance roughly 50% office work and 50% field work.
