Job summary

Sintela Limited is seeking a highly motivated Field Engineer to lead installation, commissioning, and support for Sintela’s DAS products. You will collaborate with partners to install, commission and interpret DAS data, and you’ll analyze data using various signal processing techniques.

The role requires a background in engineering or related fields and a willingness to travel worldwide. The position offers a hybrid work environment with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as Field Engineer in technology or fiber-optic industry.
• Willingness to travel globally as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare for installations and trials.
• Support partners to install, commission and understand the DAS data.
• Analyse data with multiple signal processing techniques
• Configure and tune detection algorithms within the Sintela Software
• Perform and lead Site Acceptance Tests (SATs)
• Perform quality control for recorded data
• Maintain customer relations
