Job summary

Corrosion Probe, Inc. (CPI) is seeking a Technical Engineer or Specialist to join our Centerbrook team. The role focuses on inspection, assessment, and consulting for Water/Wastewater Infrastructure with regular fieldwork in the Northeast and occasional nationwide travel.

You will lead field inspections, collect samples, perform UT testing, and produce detailed technical reports, while maintaining client relationships and schedules. Strong self-motivation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering (or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Effective communicator with ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and perform field inspections.

Responsibilities

• Inspect structures and corrosion protection systems.
• Conduct field testing and data collection.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate with clients.
• Travel to client sites ~25% and manage field schedules.
