Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking an entry level Field Engineer in Austin, TX. The role supports the Superintendent and Project Manager, with a focus on learning field and office operations and their impact on the construction process.

You will assist with shop drawings, estimating, scheduling, procurement, and billing tasks while gaining broad exposure to project execution. This is a learning-focused position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree required, preferably in construction-related field.
• Ability to interface with project team and manage assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Shop drawing coordination.
• Office/field support staff.
• Estimating and quantity take off.
• Purchase necessary materials to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain material and equipment inventory at project site.
• Schedule monitoring and updating.
• Monitor assigned subcontracts, subcontractor schedules relative to material deliveries and subcontractor manpower.
• Significant involvement in preparing billings and reviewing invoices.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
