Job summary

Magnit Direct Source, on behalf of Toyota, is seeking an ACS Field Engineer for a 12-month contract in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves facilitating architectural, civil and structural installations, commissioning activities, and coordinating with contractors and vendors for testing and handover to end users.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of construction management experience, design criteria development expertise, and automotive-industry exposure.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in relevant field.
• 2+ years in construction management.
• Experience in design criteria development for architectural, civil & structural systems.
• Automotive experience with engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities.
• 5+ years in architectural, civil and/or structural design field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate architectural, civil and structural installations and commissioning activities.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, engineering designs and specifications, and RFIs.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance for civil/structural installations.
• Coordinate with contractors and equipment vendors for testing, delivery, installation, and handover.
• Prepare field engineering status reports and communicate progress to Project Managers.
