Job summary

MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure is seeking a Field Engineer to support project management and estimating for field work in New Albany, IN and surrounding areas. The role involves assisting with schedules, submittals, price requests, and CPM planning while ensuring OSHA compliance and safety policies are followed.

The candidate will work under the Project Manager on civil/industrial projects, coordinating with subcontractors and reviewing construction docs for takeoffs and pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 1–2 years in the construction industry, preferably road & highway projects.

Responsibilities

• Attend project turnover meetings and assist estimating to operations.
• Help generate and maintain project schedules and cash flow workload.
• Assist in submittals, purchase orders, change orders and subcontractor agreements.
• Ensure work complies with OSHA standards and company policies.
• Help prepare CPM schedules using estimated productions and assist in pricing materials.
