Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking a Field Engineer to join the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) project in Honolulu, HI. The role reports to the Superintendent and offers exposure to major civil infrastructure work with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will work with project crews, engineers and field leaders to ensure production milestones are met, manage field layout and permits, and support cost control and documentation throughout the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or similar.
• 3+ years of Civil construction field experience.
• Ability to assume responsibility and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily with project crews to review the production schedule and confirm materials, equipment and resources are available.
• Coordinate and analyze shop drawings, design specs, material requirements and project data for quality and contract compliance.
• Provide technical input for project work plan and scheduling, identifying risks to budget or schedule.
• Evaluate daily production, schedule and budget projections to track performance.
• Review project specifications for quality assurance at start, during, and after work.
