Job summary

UL Solutions in Allentown, PA seeks a Field Engineer to perform safety and non-safety certification inspections and field evaluations. The role involves analyzing test results, interpreting records, and ensuring UL compliance at client sites within the region.

The position requires travel to local and regional client sites, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and implement changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, engineering tech, industrial tech, manufacturing tech, or physics.
• ASQ certification is a plus.
• Experience in field engineering, compliance, or quality engineering preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and non-safety certification inspections and field evaluations.
• Analyze examination/test results against UL requirements.
• Interpret production and inspection records for compliance.
• Use UL equipment to perform inspections and ensure calibration.
• Document findings and maintain inspection logs; support continuous improvement.
