Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer in California preferred, or EIT with qualifying experience.
• Minimum 5 years of construction management, inspection, or field engineering on public infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Review contract plans and specifications, advise on constraints and conflicts.
• Inspect construction and monitor field activities per project plans and codes.
• Document progress, workforce, equipment, and material deliveries on logs and reports.
• Coordinate third-party testing, inspections, and special inspections.
• Maintain schedules, review contractor progress, and assess delays or change orders.
• Prepare draft change orders and supporting documentation with schedule/budget impacts.
• Attend meetings with Contractors and Client, and assist in resolving conflicts.
