This is a 3rd shift remote role that requires onsite work at customer locations in Orlando, FL, with occasional work from a home office. The role primarily supports after-hours preventive maintenance but also involves corrective repairs, installations, and field modifications as needed. Candidates must reside in the Orlando, FL area.

Job Description

The Field Engineer 2 performs timely and accurate preventive maintenance on equipment modalities such as CT, MR, XR/XV (angio). Responsibilities include following all Field Modification Instructions and Instrument Service Information bulletins, working with experienced engineers to learn troubleshooting and repair techniques, and ensuring customer satisfaction through service excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Complete preventive maintenance, FMIs, and ISIs accurately and on time.
  • Assist with equipment installation and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain service records, order parts, and manage cycle times.
  • Follow escalation procedures and collaborate with support teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Engage with commercial teams on sales leads and revenue programs.
  • Build strong customer relationships and stay informed on market trends.
  • Answer service calls independently within one year of employment.
Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of medical equipment service experience, or military equivalent, or high school diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with web applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to work 3rd shift, including after-hours, weekends, and travel for training.
  • Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for long periods.
