Job summary

IS International Services is seeking a Field Engineer for a 100% travel contract role. You will support project execution, verify technical compliance, and ensure QA across manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and remediation activities.

The position requires strong technical judgment, independent execution, accurate reporting, and coordination with site teams and third-party contractors. Travel to project sites nationwide is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong technical judgment and independent execution.
• Accurate reporting and effective coordination with teams and site personnel.
• Ability to work with third-party contractors and maintain safety compliance.
• Comfort with field documentation and reporting requirements (FAT, NCRs).

Responsibilities

• Field Administration and Document Control: organize field ops documents and logs.
• Autonomy and Initiative: execute activities with minimal oversight and set priorities.
• Safety Standards and Practices: follow site safety rules and wear PPE; stop unsafe work.
• Technical Execution: implement approved engineering changes and perform FAT documentation.
• Equipment Verification: verify installation against manuals and specs and support milestones.
• Technical Reporting and Turnover: generate reports and turnover documentation with evidence.
• Contractor Oversight and Remediation Management: coordinate third-party contractors and remediation work.
• Non-Conformance Management: identify defects, initiate NCRs, track corrective actions.
• Root Cause Analysis: perform RCA and recommend corrective actions.
• Additional Project Activities: support other field engineering tasks as needed.
• Travel: travel to project sites and facilities as required (Texas, Arizona, Nevada, others).
