Responsibilities

• Assist with shop drawings, submittals, scheduling of subcontractors and materials, meetings, as-built drawings, job cost, procurement, and field operations.
• Track quantities daily and reconcile monthly for payment purposes.
• Support the Quality personnel and the project.
• Review all foremen's reports daily to ensure all information is properly recorded before any income, cost, or inventory entry.
• Document all Time and Material operations on capture sheets and reconcile with the client daily.
• Produce and manage project submittals, shop drawings, and material certifications so all are submitted and approved prior to the start of work.
• Assist the buyout process, write requisitions, and communicate required information to the Project Team.
• Produce complete purchase orders after conditions are approved by the Project Manager.
• Know the key operational details of subcontractors and hold them accountable to their agreement. Attend subcontractor coordination meetings to provide updates to schedules, drawings, and specifications.
• Establish excellent working and professional relationships with clients, their representatives, and field inspectors.
• Participate in the development of the Four‑Week Look‑Ahead schedules with the Superintendents, incorporating resources, submittals, approvals, lead times, restraints, and milestones.
• Participate in daily huddles to ensure projects are constructed expeditiously and profitably.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 1+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Heavy civil construction experience required.
• Experience with structures or site civil excavation preferred.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and people skills.
• Solid time‑management system and excellent organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, P6, HCSS, and ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of estimating, engineering, cost tracking systems, and site surveying a plus.
