Job summary

Kress Corporation is seeking a Field Engineer – Installation & Maintenance to supervise the assembly and commissioning of new heavy mobile equipment at client sites. The role includes on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal operation and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in heavy mobile equipment service, strong knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems, and excellent communication to manage customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years technical education in heavy mobile equipment.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ work experience in heavy mobile equipment service and repair.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical assembly.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic and electrical control systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite operator and maintenance training
• Develop customized maintenance programs and best practices as required for new equipment
• Assist customers with technical inquiries

Field Engineer – Installation & Maintenance

Kress is looking for a full time Field Engineer to join our team in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries.

The Field Engineer – Installation & Maintenance will be responsible for supervising the assembly and commissioning of new mobile equipment in the field. This position also provides on-site technical support, troubleshooting malfunctions, performing maintenance and repairs on heavy mobilemachinery at customer locations, ensuring proper equipment operation, and acting as a liaison between the customer and the manufacturing company to address any issues that may arise. This role is critical in supporting our clients' operational efficiency.
