Job summary

Power Design Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer for the GA Atlanta Metro Area to support electrical construction projects on site. Under supervision of a Superintendent and project team, you'll learn the business aspects of running large-scale projects and grow quickly.

You will participate in decks, rough-in, trim, distribution, coordinate schedules, manage labor forecasts, and ensure safety on site. Strong communication and organization are essential; 4+ years in related work or a construction

Qualifications

• College graduate with a construction-related degree, or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Detail-oriented professional with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to solve problems and coordinate with multiple teams on site.

Responsibilities

• Gain firsthand experience of electrical installation scopes including decks, rough-in, trim, and distribution.
• Support project deliverables across all construction phases with accuracy and quality.
• Promote safety on site and recognize hazards to ensure corrective actions.
• Coordinate schedules, labor forecasts, inventory, materials, and project correspondence with senior team members.
• Interact with customers and other trades while representing Power Design in the field.
• Assist with startup/commissioning and AHJ inspections as needed.
• Schedule low voltage startup and coordinate technician labor and commissioning tasks.

Under the supervision and mentorship of a Superintendent and project team, you will learn all of the business aspects of running large-scale construction projects.
