Job summary

ReVireo is seeking a Residential Energy Efficiency Inspector to perform field inspections of new homes, collecting quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate energy performance. After training, you will travel to site locations, document findings, and communicate recommendations to the construction manager.

You will learn building science concepts, operate inspection equipment, and use tablets and MS Office; ReVireo provides equipment, and you may use your own vehicle with mileage

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• RESNET RFI or HERS Rater certification preferred; training provided.
• BPI training preferred if not RESNET.
• Experience in residential construction, HVAC, reading drawings, and energy efficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite inspections and tests to assess energy efficiency of new homes.
• Record results and communicate issues, recommendations, and results to the construction manager.
• Travel to construction sites daily and operate inspection equipment.
• Learn construction techniques, building science, and energy efficiency terminology.
