Job summary

EmergyCare in Kane, PA is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide basic life support, transport patients, and deliver high-quality pre-hospital care in both emergency and non-emergency settings.

Candidates must hold current EMT and BLS-CPR certifications, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays; continuing education is required.

Qualifications

• Must have current EMT and BLS-CPR Certifications.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and ability to drive a minimum of 4 hours per shift.
• Effective computer skills with the ability to complete quality chart notes by the end of the shift.
• Must be available to work rotating shifts: nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic life support and field treatment for medical emergencies.
• Transport patients to the appropriate medical facility by ambulance, wheelchair, or medical van.
• Conduct patient assessments to determine illness or injury and prioritize procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and clinical skills through continuing education.
