Job summary

EmergyCare is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in Kane to deliver high-quality pre-hospital care and transport patients to healthcare facilities. You will perform basic life support, assess emergencies, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure patient safety.

Full-time and part-time openings require current EMT and BLS-CPR certifications and a valid driver’s license. Rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays are expected; experience with Zoll EMS charts and MS

Qualifications

• Must have current EMT and BLS-CPR Certifications.

• Experience with Zoll/EMS Charts, MS Excel, and MS Word preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic life support and pre-hospital emergency care.
• Assess patient condition and prioritize treatments according to protocol.
• Transport patients to appropriate medical facilities by ambulance, wheelchair, or medical van.
• Complete quality chart notes by the end of each shift.

In delivering pre-hospital emergency care, the EMT performs all techniques of basic life support, provides specified field treatment for medical emergencies, and transports patients to the appropriate medical facility. This includes ambulance, wheelchair and medical van.EMTs' conducts patient assessments to assess the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to be followed, or need for additional assistance, and provides basic life support to all patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures.Qualified applicants must maintain up-to-date knowledge and clinical skills on treatment techniques, protocol changes, and application of new drugs, material, and equipment and are required to attend continuing education on a regular basis.
