Job summary

Encino Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a field emissions technician to conduct performance tests on RICE engines at remote oil and gas sites in the continental United States. You will operate trailers, collect pollutant data, calibrate instruments, and coordinate schedules with site staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• 2-4 years field experience in technical, industrial, and/or oil and gas services (preferred).
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Willing to travel to remote oil and gas locations throughout the geographic project area;
• Must be able to work alone;
• Must be task-oriented with the ability to maintain tight schedules
• Able to obtain a DOT Medical card and drive a commercial vehicle (non-cdl) & trailer.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a single and/or dual tower emissions trailer.
• Mobilize and operate manlifts and other equipment as needed.
• Conduct emissions performance evaluations on RICE engines utilizing EPA-sanctioned methods.
• Record measurements of VOCs, CO, NOx, and O2 per EPA Method 19-alt.
• Coordinate testing schedules and logistics with maintenance and environmental reps.
• Record date/time, panel parameters and engine diagnostics for each test.
• Calibrate instruments prior to testing and document checks.
• Compile a daily field journal with observations for process improvement.
• Report findings daily to the Area Lead.
• Provide operational feedback for continuous improvement.
• Generate daily test schedules for clients and vendors.
• Assist other units (LDAR/CEMS) as needed; respond to communications promptly.
