Job summary

Ambipar Response seeks a motivated Supervisor – Emergency Response Services in Jacksonville, FL. The role leads industrial cleaning teams, oversees spill response, and manages waste operations while ensuring regulatory compliance. The position requires physical work, PPE usage, and travel up to 50% with a standard 7 AM–4 PM schedule.

This full-time, non-exempt role compensates hourly and aligns with experience. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet project demands and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial cleaning, environmental services, and/or emergency spill services.
• Ability to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments.
• Experience working outside in all types of weather conditions.
• Detail orientated with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities when interacting with customers, regulators, direct reports, and managers.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and performs industrial cleaning and maintenance at client facilities in accordance with company, state, and federal requirements.
• Enforces company safety standards and procedures.
• Supervises and perform spill clean-ups, and other duties while wearing proper PPE.
• Supports Driver Operators with operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining vacuum trucks and related rigs.
• Creates and submits reports, project documents, and timekeeping.
• Ensures safety of onsite personnel and compliance with PPE.
