Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security, based in Anniston, AL, is seeking a Security Specialist Technician to install, test, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic security systems and network infrastructures for federal government and commercial customers.

This field role requires travel, a high school diploma, ESS experience, programming and networking skills, a Secret Clearance, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings; a valid driver’s license and excellent customer service are

Qualifications

• Travel ability and willingness to travel.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining ESS systems.
• Field experience installing and servicing systems including programming and network connectivity.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Possesses a Secret Clearance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, and driving history).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to our customers onsite by providing top-notch service and product training.
• Ensures safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations.
• Collaborates with in-house Evergreen teams to improve installations.
• Reads and comprehends blueprints, project instructions, and company forms.
• Installs conduit as necessary.
• Travels as necessary.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Completes all other duties assigned within qualifications.
