Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security is seeking an Electronic Security Systems Technician who is an experienced low-voltage technician with a willingness to travel. The role involves installing, repairing, testing, and maintaining security projects while representing Evergreen at customer sites.

You will need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government clearance. CPR/First Aid and electrician certification or trainee status are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Valid electrician certificate or active trainee status preferred.
• Electrical wiring experience required.
• Good communication skills to interface with customers.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time; may increase during peak times.
• Ability to call and schedule appointments; follow instructions and understand code requirements.
• Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance.
• Must pass pre-employment and ongoing background, drug, and MVR screenings.
• Ability to obtain U.S. government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, test, and maintain security projects.
• Represent Evergreen on customer sites with strong service and training.
• Ensure safety by complying with State and Federal regulations.
• Handle service orders and project administration.
• Follow up to ensure client is ready for inspection.
