Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrician Apprentice to assist with installation and maintenance of electrical equipment on mission-critical projects. You will assemble wiring, conduit, panels and sensors following plans and building codes, while learning EMS and smart relay systems.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Overtime, night shifts, and weekend work may be required depending on location and project needs.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug test; overtime possible.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on project needs.
• Other duties as assigned, e.g., cleanup of composite materials.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, conduit and devices according to plans.
• Install electronic controls, panels, sensors and components.
• Perform interlock wiring as required and inspect systems for proper operation.
• Troubleshoot EMS systems, smart breakers and relays; read contract drawings.
• Read blueprints and determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
