Job summary

CoVolt Power AHV is seeking an Electrical Technician to work onsite at field project sites across the United States. The role focuses on assisting with multiple installation and cable tasks, with emphasis on safety and learning on the job.

Ideal candidates are physically capable of lifting, weather-hardy, team players, and able to follow precise instructions while receiving feedback. Prior solar construction experience is preferred; GED or equivalent education is acceptable.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent preferred
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Experience on solar construction projects preferred
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist with DC Trench, MV Trench, MV Cable Install, and related wiring tasks
• Perform CAB Transition Conduit and Fiber Install
• Support Splice and Termination work for DC/MV
• Assist with SCADA Equipment Install, CAB Install, and Combiner Box Install
• Handle labeling, fiber termination, and related field duties
• Observe LOTO and safety protocols; perform IR scanning and survey/as-built tasks
