Job summary

Lock Search Group is seeking a Construction Electrical Supervisor to lead field supervision and oversee electrical scope on active project sites in the United States. You will ensure electrical systems, controls, and related infrastructure are installed safely and in accordance with contract documents and codes.

The role requires coordinating with subcontractors, construction teams, and project personnel, with travel around 40% and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Approximately 6–7+ years of hands-on electrical construction experience, preferably in commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one‑line diagrams, panel schedules, and construction documents.
• Experience coordinating electrical installations and working directly with subcontractors and field construction teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate directly with electrical subcontractors to ensure proper installation in accordance with contract documents and project requirements.
• Monitor electrical construction progress against project schedules and communicate status, delays, risks, and field issues to the Construction Manager and project team.
• Participate in site walks, pre-installation meetings, progress meetings, and other coordination activities with subcontractors, general contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide hands-on field oversight and technical support throughout the construction and installation process.
• Assist in resolving installation challenges and other electrical issues encountered in the field.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to verify conformance.
• Prepare field reports, RFIs, progress updates, and other documentation.
