Job summary

Patriot Contracting LLC is seeking a Field Electrical Superintendent to lead our commercial electrical field operations across active projects in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. You will oversee manpower, hold foremen accountable, and ensure work meets safety, schedule, and cost targets.

This role requires independent decision making, strong leadership, and experience coordinating with general contractors, project managers, and service teams. On-site work in Northern Virginia is expected.

Qualifications

• 7 years of commercial electrical experience.
• 3 years leading multiple crews or projects simultaneously.
• Active Virginia Journeyman Electrician license.
• Virginia Master Electrician license preferred; licensing support available.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical field operations on multiple active projects in Northern Virginia and DC.
• Manage manpower and crew assignments across jobs.
• Mentor foremen and field personnel; ensure safety and quality.
• Monitor labor hours against budgets and take corrective action.
• Review drawings to identify conflicts before installation.
• Coordinate with project teams, vendors, inspectors.
• Ensure work is completed on schedule and to standards.
• Address site issues and scheduling conflicts with contractors.
• Support hiring, discipline, and performance management of field staff.
• Oversee service dispatch and customer relations.
• Perform service calls when capacity allows.
• Participate in internal training for leadership growth.
