Engineering-Economics,-Inc. (EEI) seeks an Electrical Specialist for its Mission Critical team to independently commission, test, and verify electrical building systems in field settings, including power distribution, lighting, wiring, and controls.

The role requires a degree or strong field experience, with up to 75% travel and a hybrid office/field work arrangement. Annual compensation ranges from $86,000 to $121,000, reflecting market conditions and experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with electrical systems or commissioning in field environments.
• Experience with data centers or mission-critical facilities is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; PE/CxA/ PMP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning testing and verification of electrical systems for mission-critical facilities.
• Troubleshoot across full-load, no-load, and failure conditions with project teams.
• Produce commissioning documentation per project requirements and client deliverables.
• Verify installations against design specs, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as on-site technical lead, communicating findings to clients and teams.
• Contribute to safe, reliable, and high-quality project execution.
