Job summary

ISC Constructors is seeking a positive, energetic E&I QA/QC Inspector to inspect instrumentation and electrical installations for compliance with drawings, client standards, and codes. You will coordinate with field supervision to ensure installations meet requirements and maintain logs of discrepancies for punch lists.

The role requires familiarity with E/I codes, strong Windows/Microsoft Office skills, and a background in fabrication and testing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, inspection and testing as related to E/I work.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to E/I installation and testing.
• Strong computer skills in Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol tests and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all Instrument and Electrical installations to ensure compliance with drawings, client standards and codes.
• Interact with field supervision to ensure installation aligns with drawings and standards.
• Conduct drawing audits to verify current revisions are used.
• Witness testing of cables, piping and instruments and record inspections.
• Spot check materials for compliance and calibration certificates, report findings as punch lists.
• Keep logs of discrepancies and facilitate quality meetings when required.
• Communicate effectively with supervision and clients; understand OSHA rules.
